Summary

"You are already logged in" appears when attempting to log into an IS Series station. This typically happens when the browser restarts or closes without properly logging out of the IS Series station.

Solution

Power cycle the IS Series station you are attempting to login to. The message should no longer be displayed. Summary

IS-SOFT on multiple user PC does not work when a different user logs in. IS-SOFT is assumed to need to be reinstalled in common area. When reinstalling the software, you get a license key error.   Example: IS-SOFT installed under USER1 on PC and works fine. USER1 then logs off PC and USER2 logs in. IS-SOFT then will not operate for USER2.

Solution

Modify the NTFS permissions for the User/Authenticated User to include Modify permission on the entire C:Aiphone folder and the Aiphone_PCMS_Rec folder (video recordings).   [post_title] => IS-SOFT on Multiple User PC [post_excerpt] => [post_status] => publish [comment_status] => open [ping_status] => open [post_password] => [post_name] => is-soft-on-multiple-user-pc [to_ping] => [pinged] => [post_modified] => 2025-03-12 08:40:00 [post_modified_gmt] => 2025-03-12 15:40:00 [post_content_filtered] => [post_parent] => 0 [guid] => https://aiphone.local/kb/is-soft-on-multiple-user-pc/ [menu_order] => 0 [post_type] => kb [post_mime_type] => [comment_count] => 0 [filter] => raw ) [2] => WP_Post Object ( [ID] => 36763 [post_author] => 23 [post_date] => 2021-05-05 14:27:19 [post_date_gmt] => 2021-05-05 21:27:19 [post_content] =>

Summary

If the IS-IPC's primary function is to provide the telephone transfer feature to a local system, and does not connect to a network, the IS-IPC appears to restart occasionally, making the system unavailable for a few minutes.

Solution

The IS-IPC requires a constant network connection, even if it is just used for telephone transfers. Summary

Multiple, common network IS-IP Series systems sometimes have interlacing video between its door station and a different system's door station.

Solution

If there are multiple isolated systems on a network, a change to the multicast address for each system must be made. For example, if there are 10 schools with one door station and one master station, each system's host will need to adjust the 239.0.1.4 video multicast IP address to be individualized for each system.
  • System 1 can use: 239.0.1.4
  • System 2 can use: 239.0.2.4
  • System 3 can use: 239.0.3.4
  • Etc...
This will prevent the wrong video being routed to a location.
